Dreams Aren’t Always Crystal Clear

Keep trying until you find the thing to devote your heart to.

My dream has never been crystal clear. I can only describe it as a deep desire to manifest a far greater life. It’s a feeling that tells me I am capable of much more. I am nowhere near my potential.

Have you ever had this feeling?

Sometimes it takes many tries to catch a dream. I try, and miss, I try again. I go through all the stages: defeat, depression, anger. And why not? Dreams are important.

When I have setbacks, roadblocks, or dead ends, I go back to the basics. Here are some of the things I do.

I take inventory of my skills and abilities.
I study my past. The things I have done intuitively.
I examine my beliefs.
I seek insight from new sources.
I give myself time. Sometimes a road trip helps.
I look for another path.

I have gone through this process over and over for years. I will spare you the list of dead ends.

No matter how many times I hit a wall, one thing always remains. It’s the true test: Is there still a desire? A deep desire to manifest a far greater life?

As long as that desire exists, I will keep moving, keep exploring, and keep growing. I believe that inner voice. That quiet, powerful force. I could choose to resist it, but why? Why resist a greater life?

I will make a difference. I am making a difference.
No one can stop me, but me.
I have everything I need to be everything I am.
I am fully here. I fully present.
I know the way.
I will not give up.

One thing I can say with absolute certainty, I am closer today than I was yesterday.

Dreams aren’t always crystal clear. Keep trying until you find the thing to devote your heart to. Then you will discover that all your efforts, even the trials, have prepared you for the mystery that awaits you. Go for it!

Dreams do come true, if you build them. Join me at Great is the Way if you want to be a part of a growing tribe of dreamers and builders.
